Our 40th Reunion was a Blast and enjoyed by all! A perfect weekend spent with our friends, fun, laughter and beautiful sunny weather. As always it went by way to quickly. The Class of 1969 is still the Greatest, they still know how to party (some more than others, right Ronnie) and we refuse to grow old!!! It was so wonderful seeing all of you again, those from other classes who joined us, and two of our teachers who attended. Some of you we haven't seen since high school and we're so happy you joined us. To those of you who were unable to attend, we missed you and hope you'll join us at our next event in two years when we celebrate our 60th Birthdays. I want to thank everyone who attended, you helped to make out 40th Reunion a success and so much fun. I also want to thank everyone that helped in some way with the reunion. I greatly appreciate all your help and support to make our reunion so enjoyable and memorable. Watch for details about purchasing photos that were taken by our Reunion Photographers during both nights. We'll be able to view and purchase the photos online. If you took photos during our reunion, please send me a copy. Our Reunion Memory Book will be designed by Oscar Lievano. If you would like to purchase a copy of our Memory Book for $12, please let me know soon before it goes to print.

We were honored to have two of our former teachers join us for our reunion, Eric Robinson and Doug Wycoff. Yes, they both still look great! We also enjoyed having alumni from other classes join us. From the Class of 1967, David Ayala, Hartley Key and his spouse Sylvia, Charlie Martinez and his spouse Jane, and Harold Skip Williams and his spouse Dorothy. From the Class of 1968, joining us were Pete DiFalco and his spouse Simone, Jim Freble and his spouse Gudrun, Susan Martin-Sanders and Marlene Stanley-Toepel. From the Class of 1970 joining us were Ed Davis, Margaret Lievano-Mathis and Diana Mora-Perez. The Class of 1971 joining us were Claudia Long-Aulton, Alex Mesa and Brenda Prentice-Mhoon. And those from the Class of 1972 were Dixie Bernard-Lewis and Nancy Owings-Simmons. If I forgot anyone, please let me know.

There are so many of you I want to thank for your help and support during the planning process and during our reunion. A special thanks to all of you for your help (Maggie, Margaret, Joanne, Gilda, Stella, William, Sandra, Larry, Jay, Diane and Kathy). I would also like to thank our Reunion Photographers Ed and Karen Nercess. They continue to do an excellent job and help to make our reunion so memorable with the beautiful photos they've captured both nights. Thank you also to our D.J.'s both Friday and Saturday Nights for taking us back to our high school years with music from the 60's and 70's. I also want to thank everyone who attended for the beautiful card you all signed and the gift of $$$ you gave me for your appreciation. That was so sweet of all of you, thanks so much! Thanks to Oscar Lievano who will be handling our Reunion Memory Book. A special thanks to everyone who attended and thank you for all your compliments. The Reunion may take many months of planning and work, though seeing the enjoyment of those attending makes it all so rewarding and worthwhile.

Our Reunion began with our Friday Night Event which was casual with a Barbecue Buffet. Our Friday Night D.J. entertained us with music for the night. Our Reunion Photographers took candid photos during this nights event. Jay Sullivan sang us a song he had written, great job and thanks Jay! Ronnie Skinner entertained us with his performance on top of one table (see our reunion photos). We held a Door Prize Drawing and a DVD Set of 50 Years of NASA was won by David Simmons. A Raffle Drawing was held this night giving away a 9 inch Portable DVD Player, which was won by Harold Skip Williams. After our event ended this night, some strolled along the beach, some went to their rooms and others continued to party into the night at a couple of the Guest Rooms.

During the day on Saturday, we held a couple contests down by the Pool Bar & Grill. A Trivia Contest was held and won by Jay Sullivan. He knew most all the answers (he has a very good memory of the 60's). We also held a Contest for the "Males Best Bod", yes some of our guys still have one. The winner was "William Page" who scored every single vote (check out the photo of this). The rest of the day was spent sharing time with our friends, enjoying the pool and beach, or visiting sites around Miami.

Our Saturday Night Event was light dressy and we enjoyed a Dinner Buffet. Individual, Couple and Group Photos were taken by our Reunion Photographers. Later in the night, they printed out some of the photos to those who wanted to purchase one. Our Music for the night was supplied by our Reunion D.J. of "Sounds Fantastic Productions". He supplied us with so many wonderful hits from the 60's and 70's. A Door Prize was held and a DVD Set of "Encyclopedia of the 20th Century" was won by Hartley Key. A Raffle Drawing was held this night with the following prizes given away: a Magellan 4.3 Portable GPS System was won by Sandra Simmons-Harbison, a AT&T Corded and Cordless Phone System was won by Marilyn Morrison-Wycoff, A Kodak Digital Camera Set was won by Joanne Steffen-Griffin, and a PTouch Label System was won by Kathy Girouard-Clark. Again after the event this night, some continued to party in some guest rooms while others strolled along the beach or went to their rooms.

Sunday Morning, those who could wake up in time, met for Breakfast then most attendee's left to go home. Some stayed an extra night at the Hotel. Thanks again to everyone for a wonderful Reunion! Hope to see you at our next event in two years.
